DESCRIPTION

You won’t find many of these Chris-Craft Tournament Fisherman, and particularly in this condition. She is 100% composite with no structural wood used anywhere. The hull tooling based on the PBR boat contract competition for the Vietnam War.

The Tournament Fisherman typically came with Iron Duke engines but she has been replaced with twin freshwater cooled straight shaft 350Q’s with ~200 hours on them and velvet drives. It was repowered at North Harbor Marine in Anacortes.

There are two 120 gallon aluminum fuel tanks, has lots of storage across the entire boat and has a self-draining live well.

Monstro has self bailing decks, USCG approved fuel lines, heat exchangers boil cleaned, painted, and pressured tested, new sea strainers, new raw water impellers, new fuel filter water separators, new AGM batteries, new alternators. The carburetors were professionally rebuilt by Wrights Fuel systems.

The current owner has refinished 95% of the boat, putting in over 1300 hours, from below the water line to 8″ inside the gunwale and on top of the cuddy area. He only used the highest quality marine grade everything with 6 coats color, 4 coats clear/topper, custom fit teak all around the gunwale area, custom made triple reinforced bowsprit, new forward hatch and horn.

Monstro is 95% complete, with the final items remaining so that the new owner can customize as desired:

  • Teak for all exterior brightwork
  • New custom made marine boat seats with brackets

Monstro comes with a Triple axle custom built 2023 Venture 12625 Capacity trailer with:

  • Stainless fastener package
  • Stainless electric over hydraulic disc brakes
  • Two full size spares and mount
  • Target bunks
  • Guide bunks
  • PVC load guides
