DESCRIPTION
Sea’s Edge is an Ocean Alexander 40 Double Cabin that was introduced by OA in 1980 as a way to meet the demand at the time for fuel-efficient trawlers. She is built on a solid fiberglass semi-displacement hull with hard chines and a long keel to offer protection to the running gear.
Sea’s Edge has a traditional floorplan with a walkaround queen berth in the master stateroom and v-berth forward. There are port and starboard deck doors in the salon and good visibility in the lower helm.
There is a good amount of space in the engine room (once you get in) and Sea’s Edge has the Ford Lehman 135 engines that are known for their dependability. She will cruise at 7-8 knots at 5-6gph with a cruising range of 500 miles.
The current owners have had Sea’s Edge for the past 9 years and believe that they are the 3rd owners since new.
