DESCRIPTION

Iris is a 1999 Hunter 410 owner’s version layout that features two cabins, two heads, lots of light and a spacious living area for a 41 foot sailboat.

The Hunter 410 was first produced in 1998 and was designed to be an offshore cruiser, striking a chord between value, space, and performance.

The 410 is certified  as a Category A yacht suitable for “unlimited offshore use.” The hull is solid fiberglass with alternating layers of 24oz mat and roving. Areas around the keel, rudder, and mast step are reinforced with additional fiberglass making up to 1″ thick in places. Topsides are cored with balsa and the deck has marine plywood for its core.

The 410 was designed to be an entertainment center due to its combination fo deck and cockpit with an integrated arch; giving you more comfortable exterior space for up to eight adults.

Iris has a B&G double spreader with diamond-shaped shrouds. Standing rigging is 3/16″-5/16″ with 1×19 wire.

Iris has eight deck hatches and 11 opening ports and when combined with the remaining fixed ports the interior has great lighting and circulation.

As you come down the companionway the large L-shaped galley is to starboard. To port is the master dry head and just aft is the large owners cabin. As you move forward again the nav center is to port of the galley and then there are two settees in the salon, one a large U-shaped wraparound. The forward cabin features a pullman berth with a wet head in the very front of the boat. Iris has 6′ 2″ headroom throughout, is accented by a teak and holly sole, corian countertops, and a stainless steel mast compression post.
