Break Down –
Iris Inez has continued to see the highest engagement and leads of any of my listings. Yacht World click through rate went up from last month from 6.18% to 7.35% (my average is ~4% which is still very high for digital ads).
With 13 leads in August, this is more than double my next highest. And in reality, the lead count is higher. I received 27 leads/messages via Facebook Marketplace, but only 2 were qualified/interested in really diving deeper on the boat. Honestly, most of these leads never responded after I followed up twice.
The challenge has still been the refit that is required on the boat to get her back to cruising speed. That has held true across all lead sources, including the two Facebook Marketplace leads who were qualified/interested.
I have received multiple comments about the bottom growth being a challenge to dive deeper on the boat. I have worked on framing this as part of negotiations later on after viewing the boat, but what makes it challenging is that the more qualified leads are those who want her to be cruising ready on day one for a cross state or country trip. I have heard similar comments about the delamination found where the deck and haul joint meet, under the gunwales.
The good news is that getting more people in the door is not the challenge, which is the case for most of my listings right now. The story continues to be about qualification and finding the right person who understands the commitment needed to get her to cruising shape.
There are 4 leads that have all expressed interest and I have qualified that are still in the running, with two being strongest. One is waiting for their house to sell in Michigan but is very interested once they do, and the other is a person from the UK who wants to refit her back in the UK and would ship her out (lots of logistical hurdles to get through on this lead though).
